On Everyone's Mind

Robert Pattinson

At this very moment he is probably one of the top searched actors on Google.

Better known as Edward Cullen in the movie Twilight, now playing in theaters everywhere, Robert Pattinson has shot to 'stardom' due to the much anticipated release of the film based on Stephenie Meyers novel of the same name, which has a rather ... unique following.

A close friend and I like to refer to the majority of the fanatics as Sadomasochistic Lunatical Underdeveloped Teenage Skanks and Women Having Overly Ridiculous Estrogenic Seizures, SLUTS and WHORES.

I, however, look forward to a most exciting prospect in our dear vampire friend's future. Robert Pattinson is 'going to have the gay sexy time'??? Well, maybe. I'm not sure on the details but I do know that he stars in the upcoming film Little Ashes about the alleged love affair between famous surrealist painter Salvador Dali and poet/theater director Federico Garcia Lorca.

Pattinson will be portraying Dali.

And because I need to get it out of my system right this very second, never to touch on it again, ever. Let's look at some pictures of Robert being absolutely adorable.

He looks like the cutest pothead ever.

Gemini Division

So I've been obsessed with this web-based series for NBC, called Gemini Division with Rosario Dawson. I honestly didn't know anything about it until I happened across it on my on-demand menu. For the past day and a half I've been watching all of the videos online including the making-of and all of the extras.

I can't get enough.

I like it because it's like this really campy science fiction novel, in video series format which, to be honest, reminds of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego (which I used to watch religiously).

I'm not going to delve too much into the plot, other than to tell you that it is about a government conspiracy to destroy a population of artificial lifeforms that simulate human beings, possibly similar to the proceedings of Battlestar Galactica (were there such a thing).

I think that it's worth catching up on, and following. Go now!

Election-Shmection

The 2008 Presidential Election is under way and Americans all over the country are waiting with baited breath to hear who will be the victor and more importantly will it be their ultimate choice. It may be to early to call (so I won't) but that isn't stopping some people. Personally, I'm a bit superstitious when it comes to electing government officials. I don't like to talk about it, after the ballots are in.

Oh, by the way, congratulations to me on my first time voting, ever. It was a little embarrassing as I was given, pretty much, a standing ovation by everyone at the station, as was every other new voter who walked through those doors, and can I tell you?

It was hella exciting.

Stay tuned.
