Pre -Sunrise

The world of twilight before the dawn is both beautiful and mystical, but most of all it is fleeting. No matter how much you hope and dream, it is impossible to live your life here.

Of course pictures never look the same as the real thing.

Bacon Blasphemy

Baconnaise... Have you seen it? I have and I won't be the first to tell you that just looking at it makes you want to barf. Would you seriously eat something that looks like baby vomit? I'm sure it doesn't smell far off either, though I can safely say that I haven't the faintest idea as I am more than just vehemently opposed to going anywhere near the shit.

What is America coming to when you can spread fucking bacon chunks on your, probably already heinously disgusting, sandwich and/or burger?

Where do you get off J&D's? Someone should kick you in the nuts for coming up with such a stupid idea, or perhaps we should kiss you for coming up with possibly the most ingenious way of killing lard asses across the globe, starting here in the good ol' US of A.

Obesity is a disease.

Michael Jackson wearing Balmain

Fall/Winter 2009 woman's wear for Mr. Jackson?
Say it ain't so...

If I said no, I would be lying. This fresh old bitch has some how become a muse for Balmain designer Christophe Decarnin and I can't say that I don't approve. That shirt is ... kinda fierce.

Gap Fall 2009

Now I'm not a huge fan of Le Gap, I disapprove of the way that they treat children ... specifically Indian and Arabian children, and I think their clothes are not always made with durability in mind (perhaps it is because of their position on labor?), but their Fall 2009 line up is looking rather enticing.

I have to get my hands on one of those Navajo knit sweaters. A couple chunky scarves couldn't hurt ... and even those chinos aren't looking so bad. (Oh and I want that parka in the last picture, it shall be mine.)

Why am I even talking about fall right now...? It's kind of pathetic seeing as I don't even have my summer wardrobe together yet. Seeing as summer isn't even fucking here.

New Purchase

I woke up today a little down and decided that shop-therapy was really the best solution, so I decided to treat myself to a new pair of a boots. It has been quite a long time since I have bought anything for myself and I figured that I sort of deserved it ... even though I didn't.

What's done is done, I say.

Now, pictures.

They are Type Z Miles from Zappos your best friend when it comes to spur of the moment shoe shopping (providing that you already know your size). Free shipping both ways ... how can you beat that? If for any reason you don't like them or your dumb ass bought them in the wrong size, send them back and they'll refund or exchange.

Fast, friendly, efficient. A+

Now they just need to get here already. Next day air shipping anyone?

MAC for Hello Kitty and BDSM

I love that MAC, Hello Kitty, and BDSM are all coming together under the same roof. As batty as this Ad is, it sort of makes me want to go out and buy some lipstick ... perhaps it's all of the subliminal messages. You decide.

Kai Kühne Fall 2009 Ready to Wear

Kai Kühne never fails to amaze, and it doesn't seem as if he gets too tired of it either. His collections to me are always so trim and neat but with a sort of attitude that's exceptionally difficult to pull off and still maintain that sense of chicness and those clean fucking lines.

I felt that his use of geometrical shapes and myriad of different textures was flawlessly executed.

Does anyone know who the model above is?

Even his mens wear is amazing.

Ikea Breaks your Heart, but not your Wallet

I've been offline for a few weeks now and I suppose that I am due for an update. I've been working my ass off for the past two or three days cleaning and redecorating my room. Interior design is not my niche and I most certainly do not pretend to be any kind of expert, but I know what I like and I like Ikea.

My most recent purchase ... Fado.

They were inexpensive and I'm dreadfully in love with them.

Now I know this is a major 'duh' moment for anyone who knows anything about anything, I just never really cared until now. I've never really paid too much attention to it before, perhaps because I live in the dark, but mood lighting does everything for any room.

I realized that my room is not just a place to avoid having sex in or a place to conveniently pass out after a night of binge drinking and coke snorting. It is my private space and it should be precious to me, so why not adorn it with lavish (or in this case, remarkably cheap) gifts?

My next purchase?A Forsa table lamp... nickel plated of course.

And a couple of Santir wall lamps for accent lighting.

Now you really should be aware that in no way is my pitiful excuse for a room in any way large enough to accomodate all of this light, but it's nice to have choices.

Next up ... curtains.
